5am learning the exact pronunciation of all English Language words in US UK and RSA
By Marc Evan Aupiais
Unlike other English dictionaries. this is exactingly obedient to the IPA. it renders perfect pronunciaton and more words than any other work on Ebook. perfect for my advanced linguistic understanding of English. knowing sounds not just words advances memory. this is the dictionary for me right now. although I will still use the many others use already. a pluritude of sources is always better.

5THE best dictionary for the Kindle...period
By Jacob M. Palmer
For serious readers of past English literature, and for reading the great writers of our time, this is an essential product to own. This beats Websters', the NOAD, and WordNet hands down. The IPA is clearly British, but still VERY helpful...especially for those obscure words. The only way I can imagine this dictionary being beat is for the OED to release its massive dictionary onto the kindle. Buy it, love it.

Thank you, Collins, for releasing this magnificent thing onto the kindle.

4Collins English dictionary
By Maninder Pal Singh
It is colorful but it lacks illustrative sentences. It also lacks recorded pronunciation. However the number of entries is impressive.
