Excellent but not exactly what I ordered.

This purchase was intended as a replacement for a Korean-English dictionary that was lost during a relocation.

The image displayed is for the original 1986 3rd edition of the Minjung's Essence Korean-English Dictionary. What I received was the 1993 3rd edition which is about half-an-inch longer and about three-quarters of an inch higher than the 1986 version. Also, the 1993 edition has a green cover with a purple spine instead of the burgundy cover and spine of the 1986 edition. Thus, it is not a matching companion for the 1986 3rd edition Minjung's Essence English-Korean Dictionary that I still have.

The condition of the book and its slipcase is excellent. The condition of the book matches what the vendor promised. The contents of the book appear to be the same as I remember the original 3rd edition except, of course, the typeface is slightly larger and easier to read. However, the larger size of the book means it takes up more space in one's briefcase or backpack.

Good, Concise

I used this dictionary for 2 years in Korea. It was a good concise dictionary. It had relevent definitions and pronunciations.

Very good dictionary

This is really nice dictionary. I got the third edition (green one) instead of the second edition pictured, but I could not be happier. The dictionary lays open like a dictionary should, and there are so many more words in it. Just get this one first, or you will end up buying two Korean-English dictionaries.
