A snip at the price!
By John Everard
This is a good dictionary. It loads properly as a dictionary in my Kindle 3, and enables me to find the meaning of words just by moving the cursor to them. It has two disadvantages:
i) As it says in the product description, it only has about 200,000 entries. This means that, while it would be very good for a reader with up to about intermediate French, there are many words in more advanced texts that it does not recognise.
ii) Although it recognises inflected forms of words, it does this by telling you that the word you are looking up is the inflected form of the root word and making you flick through a couple of pages of the dictionary to find that root word. This means that, while most Kindle dictionaries will show you the meaning of a word if you just move the cursor to it, this one forces you to turn a few pages to do so. A minor nuisance.
But at the price this is a bargain.

Don't waste your time or money
By Richard French
This is not a dictionary; it's merely a listing of proper nouns. If you want to know English version of French names or names of places, then this is fine, but it's not going to help you with your French vocabulary. Since this is Sunday night and rather late, I'm going to call tomorrow morning to request my money back. This was a complete waste of time and money. I'm not in the least happy; frankly, I'm upset that Amazon would even have junk like this on their website.

Not worth it
By B. Walcott
I got this dictionary for free as an Amazon Prime member to use while reading French titles on my Kindle. However, it proved useless as it would give verb definitions when presented in the infinitive and only defined adjectives in the msculine singular form. I'm going to have to find a better dictionary.
